“I started playing basketball in 6th grade. I have always struggled with the fundamentals. I was subpar in practice, but I couldn’t do well in games for some odd reason. I met Coach Forte when I was in 8th grade through some friends. He really gave me the confidence and taught me the correct ways to train. I participated in his travel ball team and I did very well. I grew more confident every training session and soon became a great player. It prepared me well for when I tried out for Elsinore high school boys basketball team. I started on the freshmen team and started on the varsity team my JR year as well as my senior year. Coach Forte is an awesome person that cares for his players.
